Authorities in Southeast Kansas are on the lookout for a man accused of molesting teenagers. 49-year-old John Scott of Galena, a former janitor in the Galena School System, faces a charge of rape and indecent liberties with a minor. Cherokee County Sheriff Bob Creech says Scott was arrested back on August 7th. After meeting a $5,000 bond, Scott was supposed to appear yesterday in Cherokee County Court but never did. A warrant for his arrest has been issued. Even though he had been a janitor, Creech says his former position had nothing to do with the alleged crimes.
