Bridges Brothers Face Judge in Murder Case

Two men appear in court today and a third will soon face charges in the death of a Four State man. Today Kenneth and Michael Bridges each faced the judge in Cherokee County as formal charges were filed against the two. They are both accused of taking part in the homicide that took the life of Daniel Gildea. The Neosho man`s body was discovered in the back of a burning van in Ottawa County. The case was moved to Cherokee County because investigators believe the homicide occurred within the county. Today each defendants in the case was given a lawyer and another hearing date has been set for January 14th. A third suspect in the case who remains in custody today in Missouri now says he will waive extradition to Kansas. Officers transferred Kyle Ackerson from Jasper County custody to Cherokee County to face charges late this afternoon.
