Trism Begins Actual Downsizing

A longtime trucking firm with employees in this area is closing shop. Trism Incorporated cut 850 employees from its workforce today. Trism is a division of Tri State Motor Transit in Duenweg, Missouri. Locally, no drivers will be affected, and only about 10 to 15 office employees are being let go. Last fall, Trism announced plans to downsize.
