House Fire in Joplin

Fire causes extensive damage to a Joplin home this evening. Fire units were called to a home near 8th and High Streets. The blaze broke out just after eight o`clock. When firefighters arrived the entire rear of the structure was fully engulfed in flames. It took about 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries are being reported.
