Arrest Made After Tip in Investigation

A Four-State sheriff`s department recovers over $100,000 worth of stolen property. The property was recovered from an investigation by the Cherokee County Sheriff`s Department that began on December 28th. They had received information from law enforcement officials in Louisiana regarding the possible location of the stolen items, which were taken from several locations in that state. 33-year old Michael Lee was arrested for possession of stolen property and a fugitive warrant from the state of Louisiana. He is currently being held in the Cherokee County Jail.
