Updated: January 7, 2009
Ott Food Products of Carthage have merged with Albert`s Fine Foods of Omaha Nebraska. The merger will allow Ott`s to cover a larger area geographically to sell their food products. The Omaha plant of Alberts Foods will close in late January. The labeling and recipes on the Alberts brand of retail and food dressings will remain the same. A representative from Otts says that more jobs could open up for Otts in Carthage. Ott`s have been producing salad dressings and barbecue sauces since 1949.
