The future of one Four-State community is being decided tonight. Officials in Picher, Oklahoma will hold a town hall meeting tonight to discuss plans for the future of their town. The Army Corps of Engineers will outline its wetlands study at the meeting. The study examines a few ideas for the superfund site, which includes the possibility of not relocating the towns of Picher and Cardin. Officials are urging residents to attend the meeting and voice their opinions. It will be held tonight at seven at the Picher-Cardin High School. Forms will be available at the meeting, in order for residents to offer their suggestions to state legislators.
