MoDOT Receives Awards

The Missouri Department of Transportation is recognized for it`s outstanding work. The department was given two awards, the first called the Midwest States Smart Work Zone Deployment Initiative and the second was the Quality Team Achievement Award. The American Association of State Highways and Transportation officials were the ones who honored MoDOT. The highway received this award for helping research and test new work-zone safety technology. They also were spotlighted for their long-term transportation direction. Missouri`s state highway system is the nation`s 7th larges in the largest in the nation.
