Medication Assistance for Low-Income Elderly

Seniors will now be able to afford costly drugs. Senator Marvin Singleton has announced that the Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company is offering low-income elderly assistance for their drugs. The program will begin on March 1st and allow seniors who qualify to purchase some of Pfizer`s most widely used prescriptions. The cost of the drugs would only be $15. Eligible participants must be 65-years old and have a gross income of below $18,000 or a couple who make $24,000 a year. Senator Singleton was a sponsor of the bill that created this program.
