Simmon`s Foods Tours

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A Four State poultry manufacturer tries to calm protesters who are angered by chicken houses being built near their homes. Representatives from Simmon`s Foods of northwest Arkansas conducted tours of chicken houses south of their home base in Siloam Springs. 6 Ottawa county residents who oppose the construction of 90 chicken houses near the town of Narcissa Oklahoma were guests for the morning tours. Just two days ago, the Ottawa County Rural Water District #2 voted unanimously to decline sale of county water to Simmon`s in an effort to keep the houses out. And residents say they will continue their fight to keep the environment and their homes safe.
