Homeless Population on the Rise

The number of homeless people in Missouri is on the rise. The numbers have increased over 40%. On any given day 16,425 people were housed that`s according to the Missouri Association for Social Welfare. In 1998 there were 11,500. Also the group said 45,700 people were homeless in Missouri as compared with 32,500 people in 1998.
