Former NEO Students Arrested on Rape Charges

Two NEO students are in custody following the alleged rape of a student in her dorm room. Brandan Thomas of Broken Arrow and Kurtis Dawson of Pawhuska surrendered to authorities on Friday. Warrants were issued for the two last Wednesday. Police say on January 17th a 20-year-old woman woke up to find the two men in her room. The student says the men sexually assaulted her. Thomas and Dawson are being held in the Ottawa County Jail on $100,000 bond each.
