Radio Tower Collapses

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Ice sends a Four State radio tower crashing to the ground. The 400 foot tower dispersed signals for four area radio stations including 103.5 on the FM dial. Now all are off the air. Station employees say they went off the air shortly after seven this morning. It could take weeks before the tower can be rebuilt. In the meantime, station engineers are working to find temporary towers to send out a signal and get the stations back on the air. Missouri Southern basketball games previously aired on 103.5FM can now be heard on 1560AM.
