Neosho Plant Explosion

An incident at an area plant sends two workers to the hospital. Neosho fire units were called to Premier Turbines just after 11:00 this morning. Neosho Fire Chief Mike Goldsworkthy says a minor explosion occurred while employees were working with compressed gas. Goldsworthy says two people were taken to the hospital. But a company spokesperson says no explosion took place and that the incident involved water that was over pressurized. The spokesperson says its standard procedure to call emergency crews regardless of the nature of the incident. She says for precautionary reasons both workers went to the hospital but later went back to work.
