Fire Takes Family's Home in Jasper County

Fire causes extensive damage to a rural Jasper County home. Fire units responded to a blaze on Lone Elm Road just before 2:00pm Monday afternoon. When firefighters arrived, the structure was fully engulfed in flames. Family members however were able to get out of the home safely. Fire units remained on the scene for several hours. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
