Four-State officials are led on a car chase through the city of Joplin before taking the suspect into custody. Joplin officials received a call from the Galena Police Department warning them of a pursuit coming into Joplin city limits on East 7th Street. Joplin officers tried to stop the car using stop sticks, but say the driver was able to change his course of travel. Officials were able to apprehend the suspect when he left his vehicle. He was then taken into custody by Galena police officials. Officials say that at this time, there have been no reports of anyone harmed in the chase.
