Glenn Faulkner Found Guilty

A Four-State man is found guilty of kidnapping and raping a teenage girl. The jury decided Glenn Faulkners fate in just under 3 hours of deliberation. Faulkner was charged with forcible rape, sodomy, kidnapping and armed criminal action. Those charges stem from an incident on October 31st of 2000 he has been found guilty on all four charges. The jury recommend two life sentences for the forcible rape and sodomy charges and 15 years for kidnapping. These are the maximum penalties possible for these crimes. Faulkner was also given 30 years in prison for the armed criminal action charge. The victim`s family says they are relieved, but there`s nothing that can make up for what happened. Wadina Cope - Victim`s Grandmother "Its a terrible thing to happen to a young person and you know she`s been brave and even though justice has been served this is something that`s going to be with her the rest of her life." Faulkner will be officially sentenced on March 25th.
