YMCA Makes Great Babysitter

Finding a babysitter or a place to take your kids on short notice can sometimes be difficult. With most area children out of school today for a snow day, many parents either had to take the day off or find an alternative place for their kids to go. The Carthage YMCA is just one place where kids could go today to enjoy their extended weekend. These kids enjoyed playing games, putting together puzzles and building their own military bases. Single mom, Holly Hazlett says it`s difficult to take off work on days when school is cancelled.

"I would have to take off work and Im a tax accountant so ‘tis the season so I would have to make it up some other way. Im a single mom so it would be difficult to get the work in."
Most area schools plan to be back in session tomorrow.
