A second man charged in the deaths of a pregnant Springfield woman and her three children is handed five life terms in prison without parole. Harold Bobby Lingle of Joplin was sentenced for helping kill Erin Vanderhoef for a promised payoff of $250 in methamphetamine. The other victims were the full term fetus she was carrying and her three children. Lingle`s public defender described her client as a pawn in a plot hatched by co-defendants Richard DeLong and DeLong`s girlfriend Stacie Leffingwell. DeLong was convicted last year of the actual murders and sentenced to life in prison. Leffingwell was also charged but died in jail from aids.
