Ulbrich Pleads Not Guilty to Charges

Josh Ulbrich has pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual misconduct. The 22-year-old Neosho man is accused of using his position at the Newton County Jail to trade favors with female inmates in exchange for sexual contact. Ulbrich faces 7 counts of acceding to corruption, a class d felony. He also plead not guilty to misdemeanor charges of sexual misconduct and 3rd degree assault. Newton County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Bbill Dobbs says he has every reason t has every reason to believe this case will go to trial. A preliminary hearing is scheduled to begin April 1st.
