A Four-State woman accused of killing her boyfriend has been arraigned on murder charges. Tammy Weeks of Fairland faces charges of manslaughter and driving under the influence as well as driving with a suspended license. Weeks waived her right to a speedy trial in Ottawa County Court today. The charges stem from an incident on rural Ottawa County roads in which officers say Weeks and her boyfriend were arguing on their way home from a local bar. The boyfriend, Michael Drake, stepped out of the couples pickup and according to police Weeks ran him over with the vehicle, killing him. Weeks will be back in court on March 25th.
