Utility Company Changes Name

Utility bills for customers in Vernon and Barton Counties will soon be changing. The parent company of Missouri Public Services is changing it`s name from Utilicorp United to Aquila. The name isn`t new to the company, Aquila has been a subsidiary since 1991. The Aquila name change will also be seen on the stock market. The trading symbol will change from UCA to ILA. Missouri Public serves more than 200,000 customers in western Missouri.
