lounger2007-12-06-1196963973.jpgDick's Sporting Goods is recalling about 125,000 lounge chairs and recliners. The plastic support brackets can break and cause the chairs to collapse, posing a hazard to consumers. 17 injuries have been reported, including lacerations and back pains.

This recall involves the lazy lounger chair, recliner and oversize recliner. They have mesh covering attached to a metal frame with a padded headrest.

The loungers were sold by Dick's Sporting Goods at stores and online between February 2006 and August 2007 for $40 - 80.

Consumers should stop using them immediately and contact Dick's Sporting Goods for a free repair kit.  For more information, call (866) 500-4982 or log on at www.dickssportinggoods.com
