Elections day is just around the corner and candidates for office in Carthage got the chance to give a last minute plea for votes. Several candidates for school board, city council and mayor met with local residents this morning for Eggs and Issues. Max McKnight - President-Carthage Chamber of Commerce "Just wanted to offer the opportunity for them to express their views and for the public to hear those and then mix and mingle with them afterwards to find out, do a question and answer individually with them." The special guest speaker for the event was seventh District Missouri Congressman Roy Blunt who gave local candidates a talk about the advantages of being a public servant. Those elections will be held next Tuesday, April 2nd.
