Galena Superintendent Steps Down

A Four-State School superintendent is stepping down to take a position at an area college. After 14 years as superintendent of the Galena School District, Chris Christman has announced his resignation. Christman will take a position as chairman of the department of Special Services and Leadership Services at Pittsburg State University. This is the second administrator the Galena School District has lost this month. Middle school principal, Dr. Kerry Sachetta also resigned after accepting a position as Joplin High School principal earlier this month.
