Dennis Going to West Dundee

A former Four State police chief has a new job. Ed Dennis` last day on the job with the Joplin Police Department was March 15th. Now Dennis has announced he will take over as police chief for the village of West Dundee, Illinois on April 15th. West Dundee is a suburb of Chicago. Meanwhile, 28 applications have been received by Joplin city officials for the chief`s position. The deadline to receive those applications is April 26th. So far, no one currently with the department has submitted an application.
