New information is released in the ongoing investigation surrounding the death of a Diamond superintendent. Officials with the Newton County Sheriff`s Department released 4 books containing information surrounding the death of Dr. Greg Smith. Reports find that Dr. Smith was in substantial financial debt, with numerous loans, credit cards and revolving accounts. Officials say Smith had purchased numerous life insurance and accidental death policies before the time of his death, one of which paid $600,000 if Greg Smith was killed in an accident in route to or from school or a school related function. Smith`s computer was also confiscated, which revealed numerous data on suicides, methods of suicides, and insurance fraud.
