Cassville City Clerk Charged

A former city clerk for one four-state town is charged in an embezzlement scheme. 46-year old Victoria McCune has been charged with three counts of felony stealing by deceit. McCune is a resident of Aurora, Missouri, but was employed by the city of Cassville as clerk until February of this year. She is accused of stealing nearly 10-thousand dollars from the city. McCune has pleaded "not guilty" to the charges. She is currently employed as city clerk for aurora. She will be back in court on May 15th.
