Oklahoma Governor Keating is adding new issues to his call for a special session beginning next month. The governor wants to consider changing election laws because of the pending resignation of representative Steve Largent in November. Current law doesn`t allow Keating to call a special election until after Largent officially resigns. Keating also proposes state matching funds for the Federal Welfare-to-Work Block grant. The governor says he believes another session will be needed later this year to deal with tax reform.
