Updated: January 7, 2009
Neosho police have located a car involved in a hit and run accident. Police officers say the car was found in Jasper County. Early Tuesday morning the driver of the pickup truck lost control and slammed into a home on South Ripley. The driver then left the scene. Although people were in the house at the time, luckily, no one was hurt. Steven Douglas with the Neosho Police Department said, "About 7:15 last night on July 3rd, we received a tip from a television viewer that the vehicle was in Rural Jasper County. We investigated the vehicle and found out it was indeed the one from the hit and run accident. The television viewer solved the case for us." Police say the suspect will surrender with his attorney on Friday. Reported By: Tiffany Alaniz
