Refund Checks for Missouri Taxpayers

If you`re a Missouri taxpayer, you may soon receive another state refund check. The tax refunds are a result of a Supreme Court ruling last year that the state must count as revenue certain tax credits that businesses receive. The ruling pushed the state $6,000,000 over the revenue lid set by the so-called Hancock Amendment for 1998 and 99. Under the amendment the money must be refunded based on income tax paid in those years. The checks will be going out in early September.
