MURDER SUSPECT ON THE LOOSE

Four state officials are on the lookout for a man accused of a possible double homicide. Police say two hispanic males were shot around 3:00 a.m. Friday morning in Ottawa County. One man is confirmed dead, the other has been transported to St. John`s Regional Medical Center in Joplin and remains in critical condition. Police say the incident happened in the 3600 block of Cayuga in Miami, Oklahoma. Police are looking for Leopaldo Hernandez, 23. He is also known as Junior. The suspect is driving a 1999 model Dodge Ram extended cab short-wide truck with Oklahoma tags. The truck has two white racing stripes, possibly crome bug shields, 20 inch crome wheels, a crome tool box and ram tail light covers. Police say a .40 caliber hand gun was used.
