A Four State woman is injured while on a ride at the local carnival. The Tom Evans Carnival plans to stay in town for the duration of the holiday weekend. Extra officers are on duty to help deal with crowd control. One of those officers called for an ambulance about 11:30 last night. Officers say the woman complained of neck pain and was taken by ambulance to an area hospital. No word on the extent of her injuries. The Joplin Police Department worked the case but isn`t sure what ride the woman was on.
