News has been my passion since I was a young child. I can remember doing pretend newscasts for my family at four years old. Now I get to do what I love for a living and there's no better feeling. I began my career with KSN 16 in September of 2004.
I started as a weekday reporter and weekend weather anchor. Then in September of 2005, I became the co-anchor of Hometown Today. In March of 2008, I joined the 6 & 10 o'clock news team.
In addition to delivering the evening news, I have the privilege of working on a weekly series called Family First. It allows me to give our viewers a glimpse at other families across the four states and bring them ideas on how they can provide the most for their own families.
I moved to the four states from Huntington Beach (the official surf city), California. In 2002, I graduated from the California State University of Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Prior to KSN, I interned at several networks in the Los Angeles area including E! Entertainment Networks, Nickelodeon, KCAL 9 news and worked on the 72nd Academy Awards (the year that Angelina Jolie and Hilary Swank won Oscars).
When I'm not at work, I love spending all my time with my husband Jason, our son Cole and our English Bulldog Leon.
If you have any story ideas for Family First or our newscasts I would love to hear them. Pleasee-mail them tome .
