Residents in Picher,Oklahoma are voicing their concerns over superfund site money. Many Picher residents and city leaders attended a town hall meeting on Tuesday. The community members discussed their concerns over the four million dollar state matching funds for the superfund site. Some residents say the money is being used for more studies instead of presenting a solution. "It`s a bandaid approach on a cut artery. So we wnat other people to realize we`ve got some problems here. A solid decision needs to be made and quickly,"said John Sparkman of the Tar Creek Steering Committee. The committee is expected to recieve a report from the federal governement. That report is expected to present a solution for the town. Reported By:Brad Douglas
