Almost three months after the concert workers at the Route 66 Music Festival are closer to receiving payment.
Festival organizers paid $67,000 dollars in advance to the county to help cover the costs of emergency services.
Jasper County Commissioners are now dicussing how that money will be divided between the emergency personnel who worked the festival.
The money is just part of what workers say they are owed. Event organizers are disputing paying any additonal fees because they claim the festival was overstaffed with security.
The commissioners are still discussing ways to work out an disagreement with the festival organizers about the final costs.
