Boline says that can affect the body in several ways. "It's responsible for every metabolic function in our body. Such as digestion, absorption, and ridding of waste. We require water for our mental and physical performance just trying to get enough water is going to help you maintain good hydration."
Boline adds it also keeps your skin healthy, maintains body temperature and helps with a general feeling of well being. "Athletes who want to have that extra edge want to make sure they're well hydrated and even for us at our daily jobs want to make sure we're well hydrated so we can perform at our best function."
Besides thirst, other signs of dehydration include headache, fatigue and a drop in performance levels.
