Tornado Relief Workers

The generosity of others is always needed and appreciated during such tragic events. One organization giving hope to families who were victims of the tornadoes is the Hope Center in Mount Vernon. The center is collecting clothing and other essential goods to help the dispalaced families.Toys are also being donated to give to the many children who lost them in the storm. The volunteers have said that many families have stopped in, sometimes just to get a change of clothes. "I think they`re all still in shock. We`ve had one gentleman come in and he was just out of it. His wife and child was up in the hospital and he needed a change of clothes. cause that`s all he had on his back," said Pat Buss from the Hope Center. For information on how you can donate the Hope Center, you can call 417-466-5041. Reported By: Brad Douglas
