Child Death Follow-Up

Jasper County Deputies are investigating the death of a one-month old baby girl over the weekend. Around noon on Sunday officers were called to a home at 2076 Quest Lane just southwest of Carthage. One-month old Shyann-Marie Fuget was transported to Mccune Brooks hospital where she was pronounced dead. Investigators say it is unclear if the infant died prior to arriving at the hospital. The baby`s body has been sent to Springfield for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The incident remains under investigation. Reported By:Robin Rogers
