Updated: January 7, 2009
A new report releases the names of the most dangerous intersections in Joplin. The Trans System Corporation says the intersection of 4th and Florida is the deadliest. And traffic on Rangeline and 20th also reaches high on the list. Police are advising drivers to be very careful when traveling through these busy intersections. Sgt. John Jensen - Joplin Police Dept. "The safest thing I can tell people is if you can`t see it don`t do it. If you can`t see the line of traffic that your crossing clearly, or if your behind a truck and you can`t see the traffic light don`t assume anything. Assume the lights red when you get to it." The study shows that for every million cars, which travel through 4th and Florida, an average of three of them will have an accident.
