Heitz Pleads

A mother whose infant twin boys were bitten by rats pleads innocent to child abuse charges. 22-year-old Charlee Heitz of Aurora pleaded innocent today to two counts of child abuse and three counts of child endangerment. Authorities say her twin boys were found strapped in their car seats in an attic being bitten by rats. Police say Heitz was intoxicated at the time. Heitz is scheduled to appear in court again on April 15th in Lawrence County Circuit court. She remains free on ten-thousand dollars bond. Reported By: Sarah Lonnevik
