Potts Trial Begins

Jury selection began today in the trial of a four state teen charged with assaulting another area teenager. 19-year old Steven Potts of Neosho is accused of assaulting 17-year old Justin Houk several weeks before Houk drowned in shoal creek. The charges stem from an incident in April of last year when Potts allegedly assaulted houk. Houk sustained injuries to his face and a fractured ankle. The trial is being held in McDonald County on a change of venue from Newton County. Reported By: Jim Jackson
