Family Reaction

Updated: January 7, 2009
Now that the children are back safe with their mother, family members are speaking out about this morning`s traumatic events. The children`s grandfather, Sydney Bricker, says he`s just happy to see his grandkids back home safe. Bricker says it was a tense several hours when no one knew the where-abouts of the three boys. But this thankful Grandfather says without the newly implemented child abduction alert program and the officers who helped with the search, the situation could have turned out much differently. "Both the boys seem to be all right. They don`t seem to be hurt at all. The little ones not hurt at all. The police did a wonderful job. I`d like to say thank you to them, also to the County Sheriff over in Kansas,"said Bricker. The four-month old child was held at St. John`s Regional Medical Center for routine testing. But Bricker says all three of the children are in good health tonight. Reported By:Brad Douglas
