Backyard Leisure Recalls Swing Sets

Backyard Leisure of Pittsburg, Kansas Recalls about 11,000 Swing Sets. The recall is for the Adventure Play Sets and Create N Adventure Wooden Play Sets. Hangers holding the chains for the gliders can break, causing a child to fall and suffer injuries. Backyard Leisure has received 114 reports.
The swing sets are made of wood and feature various of gliders, slides and swings. They were sold at Wal-Mart stores nationwide and online under the Adventures Playsets brand including the Pathfinder, Model 65008 and Conqueror 65208. At Toys R Us they were sold under the Create N Adventure brand including Cedar Ridge model 30008 and Windsor model 30108.
They were sold at both stores between January and May of this year for between 400 and 1500 dollars.
Consumers should immediately remove the gliders from the swing sets and contact Backyard Leisure to receive a replacement and repair instructions.
