Show-Me The Money

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Someone could owe you over $23,000 dollars. The state knows who you are, but not how to reach you. Missouri State Treasurer, Nancy Farmer, visited Joplin today in an effort to return more than two-point-six million dollars to Southwest Missouri residents. Operation show me money is the campaign the State Treasurer`s office is using to get money back to whom it belongs. The average amount owed is 52 dollars, but you could have money waiting as large as 23 thousand. "We`ve got lots of money for current and former owners of Jasper County and surrounding six counties and we`d sure like to give it back to them,"said Nancy Farmer, Missouri State Treasurer.
