A major investigative unit is commended for the recent arrest of a murder suspect. Authorities called in the tri-state major case squad to help investigate an homicide in Joplin Tuesday morning. Police say the squad is only activated for major cases like this, especially when there are no suspects or leads in the case. The tri-state major case squad is comprised of investigators from Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas. Officials say investigators are better able to pool their resources to conduct searches with the specialized team. The tri-state major case squad was able to locate and apprehend 21-year old Jason Price less than 12 hours after the shooting death of 43-year old Eric Ghassemi. Reported By:Ryan Loyd
