Cordell Cain Change of Venue

A Tulsa man charged with the murder of a Joplin woman has been granted a change of venue for his upcoming trial. Twenty seven year old Cordell Cain has pleaded not guilty to the 2001 shooting death of 23-year old Kendance Decarlo. DeCarlo was shot at her South Joplin home. Cain will now stand trial in Pulaski County, Missouri. His trial should begin sometime next year. If convicted Cain could receive the death penalty. He is being held on one million dollars bond in the Newton County jail. Two other men are also charged with the crime. Reported By:Jim Jackson
