Festival Construction

Updated: January 7, 2009
Construction crews are working hard to make sure work in one four state community is complete in time for an annual event. Construction on a new storm sewer project in downtown Joplin has left the area a mess. But officials say the two point five million dollar project should be complete in this area in time for the festival of the four states. Contractors for the city of Joplin are working diligently to get pavement on the streets. And festival organizers are thrilled with all the accommodations the city`s making. The festival of the four states will take place May 30th and 31st on Main street from third to seventh street. Reported By: Jennifer Grannan
