City Administrator Job Description

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
After three weeks on the job, the newest member of the Carl Junction City Hall raises concerns about his job description. The new city administrator in Carl Junction asked the city council for a solid definition of his job description. Administrator Joel Smiley asked the council in an internal memo to re-affirm several duties that define his role within the city. Smiley says he is confident all issues will be worked out. And the council will help make the addition of the administrator position as smooth as possible. But he says it could be a bumpy road and getting to the final product could take as much as a year and a half. The mayor of Carl Junction, Jim Wilson could not be reached for comment about information contained in the memo.
