Lamar Death Investigation

A death first thought to be suicide is now being investigated as a murder. Police are investigating the death of 56-year old Alfred Alfonzo Shafer of Lamar. His body was found early yesterday inside Lonnie`s steak house in Lamar at first officers thought the death was a suicide. But an autopy revealed Shafer suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. The investigation into the crime continues. Reported By: Jim Jackson
